The only reason I would consider a 360 is because of Gears of War, which for some reason I REALLY want. |

Meh...Gears wasn't that great. Pretty overhyped. It looked pretty but unless you play it with other people it's lacking at best. |

I kinda have to agree with Gaaz here.
I much more enjoyed Lost Planet. On the surface it doesn't look as good, but the game is just more fun as far as the 1 player campaign goes. |

Gears of War is kinda like Halo. It's all about the MP. The single player campaign is short and the story is stupid. Because for some reason, whatever his name is, was in an abandoned prison in solitaire for months. He was the only there and yet he didn't die of starvation. |

I never really got into gears, everyone I play with had played it to death by the time I'd gotten a 360 and I couldnt get into it single player so traded it in.
Halo 3 though, thats a different kettle of fish, yes, OK, so its yet another FPS on the system, but it does everything so incredibly well, no half arsed ideas, and you'd only be dissapointed by the campaign if you were well and truly expecting an action romp on the scale of the first Matrix movie or something along those lines! |

I've had my elite for not even a month and I'm already sun 100gb on it.
But if you really want Gears wait for the PC version, more goodies and prettier graphics than the 360 version. Also Halo 3, give it a year or so and you'll see it for Vista. |

Eh, I have the feeling M$ won't wait around that long. I kinda seem them using Halo 3 as a tool to try and move Vista. |

They tried to use Halo 2 for that, but theres more accomplished FPS on the PC, Halo is a console shooter so PC gamers wont snap it up. |
