I'm not entirely sure how it's funny...
Basically the Bible told him to cut off his hand, so he did. I don't know if this is a case of BIID (Body Integrity Identity Disorder) or extreme fundamentalism. Weird. |

Or a little of both. I suppose if people will handle poisonous snakes to prove their faith, or walk on fire... then cutting a hand off isn't that much of a reach.
I find it funny in a "Wow, someone is that foolish to think their hand is (t3h 3v1L ) and cut it off." I know it is kind of callous, but going and doing something like that just reminds me of Idle Hands and Evil Dead or Van Gogh.
I'm pretty sure that he is seeing professional help for whatever mental disorder he has. |

don't forget drinking strictnine to go with your snakes. Now joe don't get too hard on snake handling...it is a fam tradition in the mountains (and keep the snakes COLD)
