It's probably not intended for more than Gameboy Camera esque shenanigans. It would have been nice to have at least a shitty cell phone camera quality. .3 is just insane but whatever It's not like I was going to buy it in the first place. |

Again I will state my opinion on that I buy a gaming system to play games. While the SD slot is cool, I can see the total exploitation of it and the internet browser. Won't be long til somebody comes up with a virus to take this guy out. |

I'm with Nogs, if the camera enhances the gameplay (and at .3 how could it?) then fine but the bigger screen and finer tuned functionality are bigger points to me. The one positive is that I'm pretty sure someone will use the camera not as a camera but as a viewfinder of sorts. Imagine a Silent Hill where you could only see the ghosts through the camera or that sort of thing. All they'd have to do would be to add an xray feature and we could do that!

I dont think you guys read that right, it's a 3.0 mp camera not .3 there are TWO cameras maybe the 2nd cam is .3. But I think you've jumped the gun on this one. |

Actually... the original report did say .3 if you notice my original post.
It has since been discovered that it is 3. |

3 is competent, but i would still rather have the GBA slot. oh well..
and here i was thinking i could just bypass the DSslim and skip to this one. I think i might hop on the bandwagon of picking up the old ds when this one comes out! |

Yeah, cuz I'm sure there wont be GBA games made available over the NintendoWi-Fi connection; which you can save to your CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP 2 GB SD Cards, not to mention your own videos and audio vs Same size Sony ONLY PROPRIATARY MemorySticks. /end sarcasm not to mention emulation.

Plus it will have the Wii Browser built in, so it's almost like a "Wii Channel viewer"
Wouldn't it be cool if the DSi was also the "XBox Live Vision Camera" for the Wii?....but wireless? /end hope

I think that what this is, is almost in response to the growing PSP support. I hope that they really work hard on the interface of the DSi. I think the user should be able to access the interface of the system from with in a game.
