You just gotta be open to buying one gently used. New vehicle price points are WAY over the top right now for the depreciation that happens as soon as you drive away with it.
I'm still getting used to all of the ins and outs of the car. I need to spend some serious quality time figuring out all the things it can do and has. I found out that if I leave the lights on they automatically shut off after a while and start back up when you hit the power button.
I'm also getting crazy spoiled by not having to turn an ignition key, or even put a key in anywhere! It's a smart little beast that detects my key in my person and starts right up!
I have to say for safety too it comes with all the airbags, front, side, passenger, curtain. The visibility is a bit to get used to - HAVING SO MUCH! I don't think I've found a blind spot yet. The windows pretty much wrap all around the vehicle. Good stuff. (I can tell with the greatest of ease how close someone is to my bumper with the window below the hatch. Very nice touch there.
It drives so smoothly. Toyota really did an amazing job on their hybrids I gotta say. Even their first pass at the Echo turned Prius that Sakura has. Well done! |

glad you got a new car and i hope it works well for you. one nice thing is since they have been having production problems, depreciation is fairly low on it so you are getting a good deal. just hope you have alot of stop and go traffic in the future so you get the best mpg outta the thing. |

Oh, I definitely don't mind used. Just, all the prices we were seeing when I was looking at them were overpriced for used cars with the amount of mileage they had, etc. <3 |
