white mages suck UNLESS they are coupled with a good class. my black mage rylan is strong in both white and black magic. he drops nearly everything in one shot. and he heals for tons of health along with revive. No team should be without one super powered white mage. its best with black mage imo.

of course ninja's rule Razz

i like their abilities more than their attacks though. its all about holding two swords.

yupyup. My ninja Tennesy has 2 masamunes equipped. I'm teaching someone (I forgot who) to be a white mage just cuz I don't have any healers in my party. (I haven't needed to heal anyone in a loooooooooooong time!)

I prefer to use X-Potions and Phoenix Downs instead of white magic. It's a lot easier than moving a white mage around.

Right now I'm busy leveling up Nobel whom I just turned into a templar, and I'm about to switch Frida back into an Archer to learn the Aim: Arm skill. What I need to do most though is give everyone in my party a run at being a black mage so that I can make 'em learn a few skills just in case.

oh i have frida too she's one of my fencers. Sure you could always use x-potions and phoenix downs but that can get costly and you have to be right next to the person to use them. with white mage heals you can cure multiple people at once. also you're wasting an item skill slot on someone who could be using something more useful. as for moving my white mages around i have two of them *not pure white mages* and they have the purple boots (forget the name) that allow them to move more spaces each turn. but to each his own i guess.

yea i almost forgot that money has almost no value in this game. i dunno i still prefer the ranged healing to having everyone equipped with item use.

Well, I began leveling up a white mage, just in case. Other findings of mine:

-Double Sword = TEH WIN. I LOVE ninjas!!!
-Law cards = useless junk
-Templars = better than white monk but worse than gladiator
-Far Fist = 0WNED!!!

oohh i love anti-law cards. there is one called almighty! guess what it does! nullifys ALL laws. course i'll never ever use it.....

I have 2 allmightys. I don't understand, maybe it's just the way I play, but I NEVER need healing. almost every human I have has double-swords and strickback (ninja and fighter) The cool thing about that is since they're support/reaction abilities, you can hav ecompletely different classes/sub-classes.
