Yeah, this trailer was pretty much just a freakin teaser so ... bleh, I can't wait to see a REAL trailer, ... *goes out watch the teaser again
Quote: | it doesnt make sense that there are thousands of aliens on earth durring the time of the aztechs, and there are none now |
Easy, the Preds kicked the livin sh** out of the aliens and that's why the planet is hmm, alienless from that time to today ... hell the Aztec and Preds might have joined force ... OR the reason why the aztec would have vanish in history COULD be that the aliens killed them all, and the preds came and blahblahblah you know the rest, preds go kill kill kill and aliens ... die die die ... so yeah, hmm, I really hope this is NOT gonna be it cause I would have spoiled it all |

Damn you AZ hehe, I knew this was here but didn’t feel like looking.
I to am rooting for the preds to win. I am a fan of already efficient killing machines that are intelligent and deck themselves out to make them even more lethal. As opposed to aliens who mindlessly kill, but are good at it.
I am really hoping to see the preds kick many alien asses but a few go down to the alien’s sheer numbers. |

Alright, I"m gonna tell a little known fact about the AVP series. In the beginning there was a system called the Jaguar. One of my foundest gaming memories is dad renting one for me from a local Hayes and getting AVP for it. It was based on a alien infested world. Humans, after Aliens, were attempting to fight the war against the Alien horde. Humans, much like the soldiers in Aliens, are killing the Aliens. Unfortunately for the humans are also being hunted by predators. The Preds hunt both Human and Alien. The Alien hunts humans and trys to survive the preds. The humans slay as many Aliens as possible and try to survive the Preds. The great thing about this game was you could play as any of the 3 races. The soldier had some serious firepower, like those guns that had hip harnesses, those were cool. The aliens would upgrade their abilities as they killed more humans. Acid blood, venom spitting, extendable mouth, and even the ability to drop face huggers to ferret out humans and produce more alien allies. The pred was the coolest. Since the Jag controller had a numeric pad like a phone, the pred had 6 differant view modes including night, infrared, and a special alien view that made all alien blooded creatures appear as bright green blobs. Pred also upgrades with more kills. How you killed the aliens ranked you points. with the spear got massive points, with the throwing thing a little less, the plasma cannon on the shoulder did mass damage and splash but you got less points and has a battery that had to recharge. If you used the camo to kill anything it was considered cowardly and cost you points, lose enough points and you would lose certain weapons. All and All one of the sweatest games ever produced just Jag wasn't a great platform. I think they also produced a PC version that might still be available.
Anyway this looks like it's gonna be based kind of off that game just updated to try and make it a thriller chase movie. Check out the game, it was sweetness like no other. |

Jaaaa....Guuuuaaaarrrr? Those still exist? hehehe
I think there was a PS2 version of the game too..One was RTS and the other FPS...It just didn't go over very well cause I think they rehashed the Jag game without adding new graphics...Go Atari! |

Actually I think with our current weapons technology our soldiers could hold their own. Each one would have to be much better equipped though. |

Closest we have to a tri-fecta battle like this is StarCraft.
Scary Xenomorphs=Aliens
Kick ass armored aliens=predators
Terran meatbags=humans
And those meatbags had tactile nukes and still got whupped. |
