Hehe, I'm not knocking Larping in general, but lol...that movie is just too funny, lmao. Enon, I actually think your view on Larping is very valid. In fact, I think it would be the preffered method of playing D&D if the setup was as simple as tabletop. You'd just have to watch out for those guys who "Always have to win" You know who I'm talking about, the old "Nu uh, I blocked your radiation attack with my special invincible shield!" The god players. It's not about the fantasy for those guys. grrrr.

Anywhos I probably would have found the little movie thing funny as well if I had better sound and better computer but as for godmods in the one that I have done its not all that bad about it. But the again there is a very hardcore rule system in place so **shrugs**
But there are some simple set ups for some Larps, but then again it is hard to dispute when you get hit with a boffer weapon so. |
