Sounds interesting, but like it needs some work, buddy. I mean, anyone can VS in any senario they want without having to go through you and deal with PMs and hit and misses and stuff. I suppose that it might be interesting to see different versions of common PO characters, though. Maybe you could set up an Alternate Reality Brawl, where people come as alternate versions of their characters, like Sperrit would be a bloodthirsty killer and Ain would be... Irish? Anyway, think about it.

Well, the alternate reality was kind of the idea. And the whole thing is designed to lessen the fighters work. They just have to type when the want to attack or react. Most of the enviroment changes, setting up, and stuff like that would be done by me. It's meant to be a way of fighting in a scenario without having to do the fine details of the scenario, and also when to hit and miss.

But we already have the PO Wars, which is totally automated. Besides, I like the writing part of the battles. Interacting with the senario and to the attacks of your opponent are fun!

I gets the email...

I writes a description of the arena (sends it bac for approval), the crowds, announcer style introduces the scenery and characters (with some false history thrown in)

(optional - I introduce Bob, he does his dramatic entrance, same with Joe)

Bob attacks

-announcer comes in, dramatically announcing hit or miss-

Joe reacts to the hit, counter attacks

-announcer comes in, dramatically announcing hit or miss-

(the order can change)

-there might be adverts thrown in, blah, other people can be perhaps acting in the crowds, other NPC's (controlled by me) might come in, traps might be set off-

-eventually someone dies, the 'clone' melts away, or surrenders.

-announcer wraps things up-

It's like D&D in a way, the participants still write most of the battle, and can do what they choose, I, or one of my staff (perhaps?), just DM the scenery and the like.
