In all actuality Arucard IS Vampire Hunter D..Both Half-vampires..Both Vampire hunters...Both sons of Dracula....I mean..Aside from the talking hand they're exactly alike..Cept D has that freaky Aeon Flux Look and Arucard can use magic like a mo-fo.

Kurama - Yu Yu Hakusho
Not only is he a criminal spirit inhabiting the body of a human (originally entered the fetus and molded it from there) but if you watch the Dark Tournament series you will see that not only does he kick ass but he literally KILLS eveyone he defeats.
I don't know if Cartoon Network edited it tho since I refuse to watch that crap.

I was thinking more about it, and I realized that Himura Kenshin, the Hitokiri Battosai, really ought be on this list. I mean, the guys beaten the crap out of HOW many people? And some real badasses in their own right too

I totally agree with you, Rev, accept that it's hard to see Kenshin as a Badass sometimes just because of his goofy character. It makes one take for granted the fact that he was the world's most premier assassin at one point in history and that, even with the vow to never kill anyone again (and a sword with a backwards blade) he still kicks more butt than most people could even dream about.
I'd still say that Seijuro Hiko is the most Badass of the series, though. After all, he taught Kenshin everything that he knew and took a succession technique to the chest and lived to tell the tale. And if you read the manga, then you know he's deserving. Dude's crazy.
Good point, though, Rev. Kenshin get's a 4 on my list.

That's about where he is with me as well. And yes, there are some serious badasses in the Kenshinverse. Lest we forget Hajime Saitoh and Mokoto Shishio to say the least. And of course, I have a soft spoke for Sanosuke, aka Zanza the fight merchant!
