Thanks for the interest, folks. Right now I'm just sort of comparing siftware suites to see which one I can use, based on affordability, quality, ease of use, etc.

Casting'll happen once that a) the technical side is in place and b) I have a script ready. To date, the only thing decided about the latter is that it will feature Serrada Blue, our flagship heroine. Hence the need for a strong female voice.

There'll be elves too, I'm sure. At least one.

I can do elves! I can't do a strong female voice though. My ex-gf would have been a perfect lead, she has a really good voice, but we parted on less than admirable terms, so that's out of the question.

Regarding voices, remember that Onward Bound is not a traditional fantasy. I.E. it's not medeival-ish. As such there really isn't a DIRE need for "voices" or accents, if that's what anyone's concerned about.

We're using the Western as a model, so even if there ARE pseudo British accents, there'll be just as many cowboy drawls as well. So, Daijaga, your voice COULD work out.

Certainly, there'll be conventions in speech, such as slang and colloquialisms, but there's not a defining voice of the series. The Land of Eden (the main country where everything takes place) is patterned after America, with its melting pot of cultures.

Hmm, soo desu? I would be happy to run through some scripts with you some time. I have a high quality microphone and headset, and skype (if you havnt' downloaded that yet) has a pretty high quality voice streaming, better than a phone any day.

Actaully, I'd be honored. Please PM me if you'd like to hear my voice some time and we can get together on skype and try a few things out. No hard feelings if my voice doesn't fit, of course

Hmm, this Skype also intrigues me and I wish to know more. I'll download it when I get home tonight.

We're a ways off from auditions, to be honest, as I need to secure the technical side of the project first. It'll be a few months until we begin production. Not to mention me and my co-writer'll need to tailor a script/story to the project.

We're going to try and keep it small; mayhap bout five "names", but we'll always need background noise and "extras".

Either way, this Skype deal interests me. I'll have to try it....maybe if anyone wants we'll just muck about a bit with it, give it a test run. ANyone else here on Skype? I'll post here when I'm set up.
