Cool..So what yer sayin Shino is we need like 2 more people and we can have a RP session every Friday night..Woo!
We just need a GM...I can do Earthdawn GMing..Sorta... But everything else I need more experience playing first.
I can't choose either because RPing is limited in that you are still at the whim of a GM and Games are limited in that the story ends or doesn't require much brain powers. |

I can't vote on this one. I like GAMING better, but not of the video variety. I'm more into card/board games...which can kinda be like RPing, but not quite. |

It depends. I love both. If I just want to lay on the couch and relax, a good video game is perfect. If I actually want to be semi-social (*Gasp*), RPs are great. My biggest thing is that I don't like people, so unless I have a good RP group, I won't like the RP. We had a pretty good D&D group (and an ASWESOME DM...I miss him...he was The Dave at AWA last year for those of you who saw the freaky-skinny guy in all black hanging out with us), but one idiot ONLY wanted to fight. No gameplay, just whack and bash. Well, and the other idiot who told Excel to get me pregnant to shut me up. I almost killed the sexist pig, but I didn't like him to begin with, so nothing new. With online RPing, you have people who drop out and ruin the storyline because they just disappear. So there are good and bad points to each. |
