Well, I would've voted for McCain in the primaries four years ago if I'd been old enough at the time. Seeing as how I'm not a fan of Bush or Kerry though, I doubt I will vote this time around. Though I do tend to lean more towards Bush as the lesser of two evils, but not by much.

Are you freaking serious? I mean really, who hasn't done some dumb stuff in their life.
Bush's application is way way way worse.
Bush is a crappy president, Kerry may not be the next JFK or anything but he is a hell of allot better than bush.
NAME: George W. Bush
MILITARY:
I used my daddy's connections to get me out of the whole damn war.
COLLEGE:
I received a bachelor's degree in history in 1968, attaining a GPA of 2.35(This is not so good). Although I had an SAT score of 1206, 200 points below that of the average Yale freshman in 1970, I benefited from an admissions policy that gave preference to the children of alumni (his score was at roughly the 70th percentile nationwide, which is not bad but nothing to write home about).
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:
I wasted millions of my dad's and his friend's money in multiple failed businesses.

I don’t feel like wasting my entire night on this as it could go on for pages and pages. And I didn't get into all the crap he actually did as president.
He is running on the platform that he has made america safer. Right, Cause he totaly dropped the ball in preventing 9/11. And then he STILL hasn't caught the culprets. o yeah we are soooo much safer from the terrorist that attacked us. . . .cause you know they are still at large. . .plotting against us. . . .safer
Bottom line bush is not a good president, I don’t see how any one but a fool could see otherwise.

So Kerry's ideas of simply arresting terrorists instead of killing them is the big thing that will save us?

From what I've heard that's the ONLY difference Kerry has put to the war on terror.

I'd gladly vote for Bush based on the fact that he wants Americas enemies to die a horrible bloody death instead of a slow death in a minimum Security prison with cable and internet access.

n.

1. One who advocates maximizing individual rights and minimizing the role of the state.
2. One who believes in free will.

That's an extreme Republican...Democrats want the government to wipe their asses for them after they make number 2...Which in this election will be Kerry.

What are you talking about? Have you even heard of the Geneva Convention? We HAVE to arrest the terrorist, the only way we can kill them is after trial or if they fight back while trying to be apprehended.
It's called humane treatment.

Fuck humane treatment.. No other country has EVER followed Geneva convention laws but the US...I demand we dissolve the Geneva convention since we made it anyway.

And how humane is it when you're in a building and it bursts into flames and collapses out from under you? Or when you're eating in Israel and a Muslim Extremist enters the restaurant and kills you and everyone else in the building?

These people deserve death and we're the ones who will deliver it.

So they kill us, we kill them. They kill us, we kill them.
This world will not be a better place until people realize that violence solves nothing, it only creates more problems.
Ever heard the saying 2 wrongs don't make a right.

People who use violence only understand violence...Pacifism gains you nothing. When you're attacked you have the right to defend yourself.

By your reckoning if you're walking down the street and someone punches you in the face you can honestly tell me you would say, "It's ok..I understand your pain." and walk away allowing the person who hit you to hit you again?

Why is it when one human is attacked it's ok for them to defend themselves but when an entire country is attacked it's a BAD thing?

I never said defending yourself was a bad thing.
And if a person punched me in the face I would ask them why, if they did it again I would beat the shit out of them lol. But that isn;t my point. My point was reckless aggression solves nothing.
But fact is Iraq had nothing to do with our defense. And the people we should be after are still loose.

Demon angel

GAAZ, do you know why we are the best country to live in? The country of dreamers, of idealists, of hope? It is because we are supposed to hold ourselves to a higher level that the rest of the world. When the known world had monarchies, we did away with the notion. Where most places had one part of government unchecked, we made three branches that could balance each other. Where others made petty wars, we were to keep to ourselves till we became involved.

By upholding the Geneva Convention, we prove that we are the humane, that we are right, that we have not become what we say we hate.

I will not resort to death without due process, would it be so much better if the platoon that found Saddam had just shot him outright? Where is the humanity in that? Where is the right to do that?

PS- A libertarian is what a republican and the GOP should actually be, not this bastardization that has come from deciding to hop into bed with the conservative christian right wingers
