Australian Indoor-Quidditch
It's more intense then rudby, and it leaves marks nastier then paintballs.
Rules (from machall):
"... you trurn off all the lights in the hallway, take this little flashy ball we found, and peg it at each other as hard as possible."
Violent. Simple. Entertaining.
Perfect sport.

Jousting: Many historians are now trying to recreate that good ole tounament feel of the medieval period. There 'ave been two tournaments in the past four years, and the competition is sparse (4-6 people max) but it is bloody fun to watch. Saw it on the Hist'ry Channel.
It's just too bad that they won't try to recreate the fun of full contact naval battle between ships of the 17th century. That's my kind o' game |

Whoa! I did not know this thread had kept going. Silly me. Anyway, yes, la cross is fun. Curling I just don't get the point of. It seems silly to me.

LOL! So true. And yes, it does remind me of Calvinball. Now THAT is a sport!
The stongman competitions are pretty wild, too. Like where they have to drag a car a certain length and all sorts of feats of strength. |
