Gabe from Penny-Arcade said it suxored to the maxorz..Apparently you can walk paths between towns or teleport..That's it..No off the path walking or nuthin.

Soooo..I'm glad I don't buy X-box games and I gave my X-box away.

So far, the only two people personally know that think about Fable that way might have expected too much from it, but I think you need to have an attitude to forget what the was planned to include and go in with not sure what to expect. I think it is a great game, but it is definitely not the best game out there on all consoles...nor is it the best in terms of RPGs or best on XBox (Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic has that in the bag). This game is just fun and meant to be enjoyed for the little things of it. If you are looking for the best in terms of enviroments and depthful RPGs, stick to KOTOR and Morrowind are good for that.

Besides, I rarely actually believe reviewers in any field. IE, I hate the GTA series, didn't find Mario Sunshine all that special, thought Fusion was a bit on the linear and dull side, the only fun thing about The Sims (PS2 version) was killing people, and that SH is very much underrated compared to the press of RE.

Well, from what I've heard, Fable is supposed to have downloadable "expansions" every so often, the first one scheduled out in January. Even though this doesn't really boost the spirits of the no Live population, it still gives the game potential to grow.

From what I've seen of the game so far is pretty cool and I thought it was fun just watching it, but I wish you could be a girl. Damn sexist developers.

The format is pretty much standard for a RPG, That isn't to say that the game is bad, quite the opposite. Its definetly no morowind or anything like that, but as far as plain ol' rpg's go this is a good one.

Coolest thing: You can get Reaper as you're hero's nickname, so I run around and people yell my name and tell me I am awesome.

Other than that the skills system is pretty cool, and you get a bunch of powers that just make you a total bad ass, like slow time, multi-shot arrows, dash telepot thing that puts you behind enamys ect.

If you have a xbox and like RPG's I would recomend it, Just dont think you are ganna be getting something with a tone of freedom. You just get the regular town to town stuff found in 95% of all RPG's

The only reason I take Gabe for anything is cause I agree with him about 95% of the time...Granted I didn't really enjoy Mario Sunshine which fell into the 5% and Sometimes I like games he don't...But he also plays like me..If the game can't keep my interest after 30 minutes It goes into the "Bin of Games I don't Play" Which is why Xenosaga everyone says is awesome has only an hour on it for me cause I was getting pissed at having to run from everything and if I did get into a fight I die like a school-girl in south central LA.

I need help on two things. First, I need to know how to get kids out of Bowerstone. I want to take them to the Temple of Skorm, but everytime I go through the gates they stay in town. Second, I got busted murdering the sissys in Oakvale. Now the people there don't like me very much. How can I gain their trust again. I'm thinking that maybe if I get married and move a wife there things might brighten up a bit...but I'm not sure. Any help??

It can be a surprisingly fun game. I had some of the most fun in any game Ive played doing evil deeds (which I will not go into). I think it is slightly short if you dont take full advantage of every side option available in the game, but that is okay. I love it anyways.
