Should I get Xbox?

Personally, I think my buying an Xbox was a waste of money. There was a ton of potential at launch, but now all it is, is the "pop culture" box. It's got the sports games covered. It has Halo and Halo2 for frat parties. It has DOA for 3d fighting game lovers and horny guys. That's all the Xbox needs to remain succesful, that's all it does have yet remains succesful. The only reason I still own mine is for Jet Set Radio Future. Best Xbox game ever.

If you have an Xbox-wielding friend to mooch off of, hold off on the moneys and just mooch. If not, and you have the money to fling, pick it up for those few games that are enjoyable.

After reading through everything that everyone wrote, and having a conversation with Rev, I think that I'm going to postpone my plans of wanting an xbox. While paying for it is not a major concern of mine, I'd rather just have the $200 to buy something else that I may actually need...or maybe to just go buy some more PS2 games. This isn't to say that I would refuse an xbox if someone were generous enough to give one to me, say as...a gift... Hey, isn't Christmas coming pretty soon? (wink, wink, nudge, nudge)
