I know I have handled tons of ladybugs (I love them), and the worst I have gotten is a bad smell on my hands because it got mad and squirted its nasty smell on me. I actually had a ladybug farm going for a while. I found a really cool black ladybug with large red dots instead of the normal red with black. I was trying to get it to mate and produce more like it, but of course, of the few that died, that was one of them. >_<
But yeah, never been bitten in over 20 years of handling the cute little beetles. |

The Lady bug did not bite him!! There wasn't even a mark on his hand, I agree Shandriz, it's all in his head, considering most of the Ladybugs were on Shandriz and she didn't get bit once, and they were swarming her, the bee me and another friend took out was more of a concern than that ladybug |

I knew it!! Ladybugs ARE evil!! I was in a costume a few years back, and a ladybug landed on my shoulder, and we couldn't get it off, it wouldn't leave me alone...it had some evil plan, like rape! o.o Then I cried 'cause I couldn't get it off then it flew away...This has happened a few times since then...ebil things... |

They bite...they also travel in packs of thousands in the Underdark...beware your local nightlife. The ceilings are crawling with Ladybugs or DESTRUCTION!

We have a ladybug infestation at my Dad's house. It's pretty funny to watch them come out during the summer(Yes, the summer.) They wander over all the corners in the foyer, which is pretty cool, because people come in, and turn around, and look up, and LADYBUGS!!!
But I have always considered ladybugs to be totally benign, if occasionally smelly. I mean, they eat pests. What could be bad? |
