It ties up all the loose end in MGS1 and MGS2. Providing there isn't an MGS4 we'll have a completed story.

The reason I love these games is because the story was written in the 1980's by Hideo Kojima and the first 4 games were on Nintendo. These are the games where SOLID Snake kills Big Boss (Possibly Naked Snake), takes out his first Metal Gear, and kills the Ninja in Zanzibar-land.

After the first 4 games Kojima said MGS was too good for the crappy NES and SNES and decided to hold it off till something better came along.

Enter the PSX and MGS1. Then the PS2 and Kojima made sweet love together and he's STILL making games that tax the system the way no other game could do.

Hell, MG: ACiD makes the system look like a hand held PS2.

Many of you will probably get upset with me, but I own MGS2 (have for about a little under a year) and a friend has let me borrow MGS1 (around three months). I've yet to beat either game, but will probably still buy Snake Eater. Oh, btw, I haven't beaten the games because they're too hard, I just have too many games and not enough time to play em all. Also, a question. I heard a rumor that one of the leading ladies is the game is Raiden's mother. Any truth to that?

Hrm, I guess that possible...The Joy looks similar to Raiden *ponder*. If MGS1 was too har for you, you probably shoudlnt waste your time on MGS3 for a while, although thy do have a "Very easy" mode, so that might be helpful until you get teh game down.

I played MGS1. It wasnt as hard as it was challenging (does that makes sense?). Regardless.... I friggin loved the first one. Played through it like 5 or six times.

MGS2 was a bit of a disappoint ment. Dai is right, the story was there, the insane plot twists were there, everything you expect from a MGS story was there. It just wasnt challenging for me. MGS2 just didnt challenge me enough. The first time I played the game I went through it in about 7 hours on Normal. I have already spent 10 on MGS3 with no sign of the end. I got to where I could pretty much walk through the game in 4-5 hours.

So far in MGS3 I have been nothing but dazzled. It was everything I expected and more. Kojima has outdone himself yet again. Although I am stuck on a boss battle atm. So that I dont reveal any story elements I just ask if anyone has gotten past "THE END" if they could just give me some pointers I would be in your debt.

I'm playing Very Easy now cause I like to start easy and progress in these Metal Gear games.

I think the only difference between Very easy and just Easy is that you get the "EZ Gun" It's a soundless tranq gun with unlimited ammo. I refuse to use it myself, but it kinda cool they put that in there.

So Far my only complaint is that the AK-47 is friggin impossible to shoot thanks to pressure technology and that My stamina is continually dropping at a rapid rate..I ate 3 alligators a snake and two frogs in the course of 20 minutes. I think Snake needs some sleep so I saved it for the night.

Check and make sure you dont have any injuries. Then put some stuff in you backpack. Your stamina wont go down as fast if you keep stuff put in you back pack.

I dont know what you mean about the AK.... Its my gun of choice in a fire fight...... just ease up on the button pushing. I learned that from going through 2 in hard mode.

On a side note I started off in Normal.

I found out what was draining my stamina..Apparently I had like 5 leeches sucking the life outta me...hehehe.

I've gotten better with the AK now. But I tend to shy away from fire fights and just use my mad Sneaking skillz. Failing that I snipe like a bastard.

I'm thinking about starting over on Normal cause Very Easy is kinda well...Easy. hehehe. I'll just skip all the scenes...I'll be back where I was in no time.

19 hours 12 minutes and 22 seconds. that was my final time on MGS3. I died a lot and maneged to kill 348 people throughout the game. My next hurtle to get over is to go through the game without killing a soul. You'll know why when you get to a certain part in the game. All I can say is make it easy on yourself and kill as few people as possible. If you get stuck anywhere, feel free to drop me a line.

Anyways my final review is a solid ten out of ten. Kojima has outdone himself once again. Kept me guessing to the last and Dai and I actually formulated a few theories of our own with all the new information this game provides about the MGS storyline.

PS If this is your first MGS game, god forbid, then be sure and watch the credits. If you dont you will miss important information after the credits are over.

Good God! I probably would have beaten the game this Weekend but Shino introduced me to Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicals and it's sucking up half my time.

Plus, I suck. No matter how much I scope the area and plan my attack there's always one guy that just pops up and demands my ass be handed to him. But I'm still having fun and I'm almost up to where I was on Very Easy.
