There's all sorts of retarded court cases. There's another one I read of a Lawyer guy who insured a box of cigars against fire damage. He smoked em all and then tried to cash in on the fire insurance. He won the court case and the money but the company then got him back in court for Arson.
Sorry if that was random but some court cases just bug the hell out of me with how much crap people can get away with. |

people have been trying to push this for years, but finally came about due to the tony martin case "i think that was his name". anyway, what ahppened was, tony martin was a farmer, and two guys were invading his land, they rboke into his house (one was a teenager) and he shot them, the teenager died and the other bloke tried to sue, i think he even went to jail for a while, but the whole time the british press were behind him, even The Times  |

I don't see the difference really. Lots of northern kids were taught to shoot well before learning to drive....sometime before learning to walk?? :-p
Oh yeah...nothing better then hearing those stories about burgalars and thieves suing the family of the house they robbed. People are sue crazy because they are allowed to be. To keep it on topic I think a solution is martial law. Back in the day, man look at ya the wrong way...BAM ya shoot him.
Ok maybe not that extreme but I think you see my point. You break into my house, your problem. What I am about to do to...well also your problem. Me getting arrested after I torture the thug....priceless...

This is why I don't love the American Judicial system... These are the same people who let that idiot sue McDonalds. They're mostly stupid. I should be a judge... I'd throw those people out on their butts. |

Got a point though...people are sue crazy, especially when they do something out of whack...
The girl had the coffee between her legs...wow she sued for the coffee being too hot.
and all those things ya'll mentioned...about people suing even though they are the thugs,,,that stuff frightens me completely. It scares me that we allow this to happen...seems to be a trend
