Guh. Okay. I love kids to death and all, but spankings really need to be brought back into the disciplinary measures. Admittedly, it can get to where spankings are used too much or are administered improperly (hitting your kid with anything stronger than your hand is really not a good idea, even if it is on their butt) but y'know...just the -threat- of a spanking was enough to keep me'n my siblings inline. My dad only had to actually spank us once ina blue moon. |

ohh i very very rarely ever got spankings and when i did it was like a very light tap or so... no pain involved but the whole thought of me being soo bad that i needed a spanking was awful to me.
the thing i got when i misbehaved was 'the talk' i was sat down and told what i did wrong and why.. and why i shouldn't do it again. after that every thing was fine ^_^ i listned there were a few things i forgot but my parents just reminded me now and again. all and all i never got in trouble much as a kid ^^ |
