Another of my problems is that this is going to be my last spring break, as I graduate in May. I would have wanted to be able to actually enjoy this one to it's fullest. Oh well...my last summer was crappy, so I guess my last spring break should be crappy also... |

dude, thats dumb. I have a paper assigned before break, and it was due the monday after the week after spring break, which gave me plenty of time to sit around, not do anything, and just do the work this week. Also, my math teacher assigned a whole bunch of hw assignments during break, but has them due several days after break, which is understandable.
We know what we need to do...we need to call Billy Idol RIGHT NOW! He's the only one who can help you...

^_^ well try to look on the bright side at lest American schools arn't as bad a Japanese schools, when it comes to work load and so forth....at least that's what I've always heard anyway..^^; |

Sorry you've got so much to do, Ming. I've just got to study for a biology test that happens the day after I get back from break, and hopefully complete most of my term paper because parts of it are due that week, and the rest due not too long after, so why not get it done now when I have oodles of time?
....of course, I've done almost -nothing- so far, because I'm sick, but that shall be rectified today. |

Yeah, I can see why you're really mad at this teach because of the whole syllabus+lots of assignments+email assignments, but that doesn't mean teachers are getting out of hand. They're doing their job. When you're out in the job world, do you think the boss is going to cut you slack because you want to take a break with the fam? Being a student means doing work, that's how it's always been. Spring break didn't even always exist in schools, so it's not really getting out of hand. |

It's hard work, I understand. I have some pretty break-back teachers myself, and I'm only in high school.
And, sure being a student means doing work, but you know what? Being a student dosen't mean not being a person. And yes, he'll cut you some slack. You get VACATION days, hon.
