Yeah, ok, it was the reportrers fault, but if I had built something like that, I would have made a perimeter around it off limits. The fack that the guy had his mic wire caught on it in the first place would have been grounds for me to say "stop the interview, drop the mic slowly." Then get everything situated within a decent perimeter. You don't paint the Mona Lisa in the middle of a snow storm.
