Yeah...just looked up the casting and I am seriously raising my eyebrows at some of these picks. I mean, I love Christopher Eccleston to death, but unless Destro is a Science Geek/hyperactive Scientist, I can -not- see him in a G.I. Joe part.
And really, The Rock? Seriously? I hope his character doesn't require any acting. I mean, I like him well enough in general, but only for movies where good acting is not required. |

I don't think a Gi-Joe movie is going to require any serious acting. 
I think serious acting might actually be a detriment to the movie. Well that a if that Uwe jackass directs it. |

I too saw "Really hard name to pronounce kid in Brick" yeah aside from the 1940's talk in the 2000's he didn't due too bad. However can he scream like Cobra and run to a trouble bubble? |

I think the Josepg Gordon-Levitt will pull off Cobra Commander fine. I saw him in Brick and he was most excellent. He's quite a little actor that guy!

The only problem I have with the younger actors is that there are NO military officers of those ranks of those ages. I've always wanted to see G.I.Joe done seriously and this is just ruining my hopes. Que sera, i suppose.
And HEY! I like the Rock too... I just REALLY HATE Shipwreck. |
