Cobbi vs Nacht!! - Longest. Battle. Ever.

[Nacht]

Nacht reaches up and flicks a long whisker.
Of course, I knew you'd escape, Kittie...

She reaches up and grabs his wrist and pulls him down off of the wall. She aims a charged fist at his midsection. There is a smell of hot cloth in the air between them.

[Cobalt Katze]

Cobalt erfs and has no way to avoid the hit, flying back as a reaction of the charged fist. He still lands on his feet though, and clutches his stomache, slightly bent over.

"Alright... No more playing around then.."

He growls slightly and graps his lance. In a blur, he leaps forward towards Nacht. He appears to fly right over her, but instead lands a footpaw on her shoulder to propel himself into a flip, brandishing the lance at her back while upside-down in the air. A huge gust of wind with a tinge of pain lashes out and blows steadily. Once Cobalt lands from the flip, the lance disappears and he grasps a handgun, loading it with a mid-sized burst of energy, firing it off at the propelled mistress.

[Nacht]

Nacht uses the force from being knocked forward to throw herself quickly to the ground. The gun fire goes over her, grazing her slightly raised shoulder.

She frowns and gets to her feet. She turns to face Cobbi and holds up a hand diagonally. She spreads her fingers and shoots a needle sharp stream of energy from each finger. The streams shoot in wavey streams, going every which way, yet aimed at Cobbi's entire body nonetheless.

[Cobalt Katze]

Cobalt grins and lowers the goggles onto his eyes. He squints slightly as the streams approach him, picking out each one and attempting to memorize its pattern. Right as the energy is a few feet from him, Cobbi leaps up into the air, spreading his limbs out. One beam soars over his wrist, another under his ankle. One curves through a ring formed by his tail, another just by his cheek. However, his ear gets right in the path of the fifth beam, singeing it and causing him to fall back to the ground. Yet his feet snap under his body and he falls into a crouch, holding his left ear in pain.

"Tricky, tricky..."

He then leaps up into the air, clinging to an unseen objet. It is very slight, but Nacht notices several heat distortions fly down from Cobbi's perching spot and onto the arena floor, disappearing from normal view.

[Nacht]

The wind currents snake along the floor, unseen by Nacht.

Nacht raises her hand and shoots freezing energy toward the currents. The meeting of the different temperatures creates a fog and further hides the ground and streams of wind.

Oh great, she thinks. That didn't help at all.

The wind bubbles reaches her and takes her off guard, blowing her backwards into the air. She flips backward into an uright position, still flying through the air, and shoots a huge wall of energy upwards at Cobbi. When it is almost near him, it exlodes into a million shards, all headed towards him.

[Cobalt Katze]

Cobalt blinks at the many shards heading his way, seeing them clearly with his goggles on...

I could handle five, but this many.... hrrrm....

The furre quickly unbuttons his long coat as the shards approach him. He then suddenly lets go of his perch, falling rapidly from the rafters. He grabs the ends of his coat and sends a gust of air directly below him. The coat puffs up somewhat when he hits the air current, but it slows his fall enough to land safely on the ground below.

"Two can play at this..."

Cobalt grasps his lance with two hands and begins spinning it rapidly above his head. A tornado of sorts begins forming around him, not looking too violent... As soon as Cobbi closes his hands into fists, the lance disappears and the tornado suddenly increases tenfold. He lowers his arms to his sides to grasp his guns and the tornado begins tearing towards Nacht. To add to it, Cobalt charges his guns with energy and fires several shards swirling into the eye of the storm, rapidly changing their position within the funnel like rotating blades.

[Nacht]

Nacht does a quick backflip, charging energy around herself. She tucks her arms to her sides, and ducks her head down, forming a streamlined pose.

She pushes off the ground w/ the balls of her feet and pushes off, propelling herself with energy. She shoots through the lowest part of the tornado at an incredible speed, headed straight toward Cobbi. She aims a shoulder at his shins.

[Cobalt Katze]

Cobalt snickers slightly and pounces at Nacht just as she reaches him. With a little wave of his tail, the tornado begins to move backwards, towards Cobbi and Nacht. The furre holds steady as the winds pick them up into the twisting storm. He releases Nacht, but quickly fires a spread of energy into the surrounding winds, trapping the two inside. As one final manuver, he takes his lance and twirls it, launching it towards the floor. Chunks of cement then raise into the vortex, forming platforms of sorts. One lands below Nacht, another below Cobalt, and numerous others float at various heights.

[Nacht]

Nacht flips onto another ledge using energy and shoots a barrage of shots that swirl around toward the Furre. She flips to another ledge in the whilst firing.

[Cobalt Katze]

Cobalt leaps into the air from his ledge and goes vertical in the air. He takes out his handguns and fires several bullets at the energy shots one by one. Each time a bullet hits, it seems to phase through the energy, disappating both it and the bullet. A few bullets stray from the shots, hitting the platform causing it to break into smaller pieces that swirl around violently. Cobbi then straightens himself out mid-air and lands on a lower platform, looking up at Nacht.
