Me and maybe one or a few other people (I wouldnt want to take on the FULL load) might be able to take transitions via PM. I have tons of list paper down here and I have no life so its not too bad. Heres how I see it if we dont get an automated system.

PM:
-what you had before
-what you have now
-the reason why the transaction(s) happened
-the post(s) where it happened (no cheating, although I doubt any of you would)

now you would send the PM at the last time you think you would be getting on that day. By 'day' I do mean midnight. If you post after midnight and a transaction happens, even if its like 12:15, I still would like you to wait til the next day's PM, to make it easier. If we have more than one of these "bankers" you would only send the post to one of us because you would end up having more or less than you actually have (duh). Heh, theres my idea, Id like to hear feedback on it, especially from the mods and anybody willing to help if this goes through.

Now as for the Meseta per Post, this would be a simple case of me going through at midnight, checking your post count and adding it to your balance. All of this would be contained in a midnight PM that I would send out telling you how much you have and how much you owe (in the case of loans and I.O.U's to other people)

Well, it's a good Idea, but a pretty major workload for only one person.

For one thing, there is absolutely no way you're gonna be on at midnight every single night. No matter how hard you may try, something will eventually crop up that forces you to not be there. The solution to this is to delegate the work. You do it some days wilst others do it other days. 1: You get more sleep, 2: you do less total work, and 3: You can trade days with other people if you need to.

Plus, is there a complete list of PO's out there so you can actually go Name by name?

And Overall posts is kinda easy cause one day of posting (Unless in one day you post like double what you had before) you can assume that yer average was the same yesterday as it was today...So if ya miss a day just double what people get.

And are Mesa's going to be limited to Official PO's? Like ones with Chars or everyone who's registered? And what of the people who Registered like a month ago and posted 3 times and have never been back?

There are possibilites for this to become an automated service, just takes some fenagling. PLus, we have a couple things going on right now but it ain't a half bad idear! We just need to set it up along the lines of autonomous or people are gonna get all frazzled trying to upkeep it.

Nah; that'd be like the forum, except IRC-style... We COULD make some kind of basic fight system using stats and a few move commands, but it would be a bitch to write.
