Well, I canned whoever it was I was playin. I just couldn't find the time to sit for three hours till a party accepted me. (It's not that I didn't have friends..Which I didn't cause I hate people. Just everytime I FINALLY got into a party we'd waste 30 minutes talking about what we could maybe kill then die horribly because something spawned us.)

Unfortunately (damn game addictions) I went back to Galaxies which is actually fun now that they have vehicles. So like I posted somewhere else I'll continue to play SWG till something pisses me off.

I find it interesting watching the life cycle of an MMORPG.

FFXI isn't perfect, but it's very good. It seems the biggest stumbling block for most people is grouping. Either a) They don't like grouping in the first place, or b) They have a hard time getting into groups. Not much you can do if you are in catagory "a", because you just can't change what your preferences. People in catagory "b", the only thing I can really suggest is NOT being a fighter. Everyone wants to be a melee class. I swear 90% of the server population is melee and that doesn't work. The only melee class you can never seem to find enough of ,is Paladin. Every group wants one, just like they want a Whm and a Blm. Of course, in the end, if all you want to be is a Dark Knight (for example) and you can't get a group then I fully understand your frustration.

If you only got to about level 20, like the game, but are frustrated with bad groups, you really should stick to the game a bit longer. The higher level you get, the better the groups are and the more fun you have.

Yeah But I don't wanna wait that long to be not 20. Everyone was too INTO their own character they'd either get bossy and bitch at you for something or they'd never say anything cause they don't care they just want levels.

I'm sure the Japs are more sociable but you American pig-dogs suxorz.

I'm still playing off and on. I still haven't played SWG, though. n_n;;

My experience with groups has been generally okay, provided we can decide what to kill. I'm still pretty low level, though. Maybe there's just a wash of lv17 players who are just in it for the levels, i dunno.

I dunno, I just havent had the bad times you guys seem to. Sure I run into idiots, but thankfully Im lucky to avoid them most of the time. I tend to get into groups pretty quickly (being a mage kinda helps that a lot) I hit lvl 35 the other day, have my full RSE (Race Specific Equipment) so Im super hot too lol

anywho the more you stick it out, the more fun it becomes. Sure it gets frustrating but no one here can tell me that any game is free of frustration

Well, you say that since yer a mage you get in groups easy..I was a red mage too and the only time I got into groups was when I was sitting down getting ready to logout. Then I get the message stand up go join their group and then the group dissolves 10 minutes later.

So at least until I move to GA and can actually call people and bitch at them to play wit me I'll continue either playin SWG or DLing Kill Bill because for some reason it's not even in the dollar theaters which isn't just because it's coming out on DVD in 1.75 months cause Two Towers was on DVD and Dollar theaters still had it.

See Im lvl 35 RDM and I still havent had to sit and wait for groups. If I am, Ill jsut work on something else, like synthing or something, so that Im not just sitting around, I can better myself in other ways. But just yesterday I was heading towards Crawlers Nest in Rolanberry Fields. I had just entered the zone and got an invite, it was kinda funny.

what lvl did you make it to AZ? If it wasnt that high that could be why too. Cobbi is right that the higher you go, the more that opens up to you.
