Not Bond's fault hes not dead, idiot bad guys have plauged him for a while. I would like to see a return to the old school though, with maybe a returning bad guy or reoccuring bad guy, mysterious and powerful, who courts Bond in his secret lair on several occasions. So bond could be a true playa. |

The next Bond bad guy should be Sean Connery. It would just seem fitting...
And if Bond has to die, it should be in an all out battle with Connery as the villain. |

Craig's selection was revealed as he was brought down the River Thames aboard a military boat to a news conference for the upcoming Bond movie "Casino Royale," wearing the spy's trademark tuxedo and dark glasses.
Craig, 37, co-starred with Tom Hanks and Paul Newman in "Road to Perdition," played poet Ted Hughes opposite Gwyneth Paltrow's Sylvia Plath in "Sylvia," and appeared in this year's thriller "The Jacket" with Adrien Brody. Blond Englishman Gets Bond Casting Call
"Casino Royale," the 21st Bond film, will be directed by Martin Campbell, who also directed Brosnan's first Bond outing, 1995's "GoldenEye."
Producers announced last year that they were seeking a replacement for Pierce Brosnan. The 52-year-old actor played the suave British spy in the last four Bond films, including 2002's "Die Another Day."
Other actors who had been mentioned as 007 contenders include Clive Owen, Ioan Gruffudd, Colin Firth, Hugh Grant, Gerard Butler, Ewan McGregor, Colin Farrell, Hugh Jackman, Heath Ledger and Eric Bana.
"Casino Royale" is expected to be released next year. |
You may also know him from Layer Cake, Tomb Raider and Elizabeth.
It'll be an interesting swing in the bond to be blonde but that's what hair dye is for. And I just love Daniel Craig. Especially after Layer Cake.  |

I'm not sure I'm 100% sold, but I'm sure he'll grow on me. I think he just may have the right look after all.
Although I still would have loved to see Jason Statham as Bond...but I don't think that that was going to be happening anytime soon... |

I'll have to look up this guy. I don't watch Bond movies, but I was going to say that if Eric Bana or Guy Pierce became Bond, that would totally change. If only so that I could watch them in action. I -love- both of those actors. Almost as much as my Liam, Sean Connery, and Orlando. <3
Liam is, happily, a bit too old to be Bond, methinks. Too bad, as he is teh awesome. If Sean guests in one of the movies, I might actually watch it, too.
Otherwise, I haven't and never will watch Bond. |
