Oh yea...just like that KiSin. I hope that this doesnt turn into something stupid...i mean, 90 percent of the people that went to my highschool watched spongebob...many of which watched it WITH THEIR GIRLFRIENDS!

I don't know. I think he likes her to. Look how he tries to get her attention so badly when Larry is stealing the show (I ripped my pants episode). And when he first meets her, he is so stuck on impressing her that he almost dies in her air environment. 
Even if he did not like her, Spongebob is made so kids can relate with him. He is very child-like because the creators want kids to relate and enjoy the show. Sure he goes to work and has his own place, but in other respects he is just like a little child...innocent and open to views. Little children are very close to each other, male or female. They don't even know what it really means to love/like a person in that way. Patrick and Sponebob, I feel, are just like kids who are best friends. Nothing more. |

Meh, to be fair, i don' care either way. In my oppinion, no matter what view spongebob may or may not be hawking intot eh minds of the children, it is still rivalling barney in the amount of angst it gets from me. For clarity sake, i hate spongebob because it is stupid and not in the funny Family Guy/Simpsons way. It's just plain, mind numbing trash by my reconing. Who cares what side he's on, i don't i boycott him cuz he is the worst thing invented since the gun. |

Personally, I like Sponebob. At least he is not a singing dinosaur. Barney scares me. And thank GOD he is not a Teletubby!!! Now if anything is gay, those are! *Scared*
Besides, what does it all matter? So even if he WAS being used to promote gay rights, open your friggin minds, people! Just because it is against your religion does not mean that you (generic you used here) have any right to stop anyone. If you don't want your kids to see it, don't let them. Problem solved. If people were just more tolerant altogether, life in general would be a lot better. Sure, we could have our differences, but at the same time respect the opinions, religions, and lifestyles of other people. If being gay is wrong and those people are right right, it will all be sorted out in the end. No reason for humans to start carrying out the punishments for any religion, belief, or idea. And if those people are right about it being wrong and having eternal consequences, I am in trouble! LOL. Respect. Definitely what the world needs more of! Everyone is human, no matter what they believe, look like, how they act, etc. 'Nuff said. |

People are way too uptight in this society. Finding phallic symbols in Disney, saying that Spongebob is making the world homosexual, and of course my favorite; the Teletubbies deal. I mean come on here society, wake up, relax and let the line blur a little. We don't all need to fit a certain category.

But yeah, if you look hard enough, you are going to find something no matter how innocent the creators' intentions were. After all, high school boys (and Excel) can find hidden things in about anything. A tower could be a phallic symbol, even though it was meant to just be a simple tower where one of the characters lived. So now are we going to say Rapunzell was all about sex because she lived in a tall tower? It's just mad! Mad, I say! |
