You know, with our two four-star generals simultaneously retiring, and Ari Fleischer jumping ship, it seems to me that people can see the downfall coming and are getting out. So, who wants to start a PO commune then?

I think its probaby more republican than anything, even though we claim to be democratic. But regardless, I don't think either form is that efficient anymore. Sometimes I think we need a dictator (a nice one) to straighten things out.

And as an answer to your post, Ming, if we ever got into a dictatorship we could run into all KINDS of problems. I mean, even if the first King of America we elected turned out to be a really nice guy what about his son? What about his son's son? Eventually we're going to be stuck with someone who just isn't going to be good for the country and then we'll be back in the Dark Ages again.

America. A land where spelling doesn't count, but people's pets do. Where else can you get a job riding a whale at marineland? The land where a guy's girlfriend breaks up with him over the phone, so he takes a gun, and kills the principal. Everyone's sad until they get the day off. Next week, another guy, another gal, another, "We can still be friends" phone call. Whuh-oh! The *assistant* principal gets killed. And everyone is sad because they *don't* get the day off. Because he was only the assistant principal.

America. A land of opportunity. Yes, that great lumbering beast that journeys tirelessly and stops only to eat a clubouse sandwich, pick its teeth with a matchbook cover, and fall asleep with the tv on.
