New Dress!!!!!!!

Well it is a pain to sew stuff, And sending stuff to the tailor seems much easier. Maybe I should do that! OMG!!!!!! Silver Adept you sound just like me! My trademark line is "I REALLY want to go back in time and expierience what life ws like then". I say that all the time. I think life without computers would be much less streessful, but also very difficult. But people ages ago would have no use for computers. Well Maybe?

Happo looks at them all and says cryptically, "Be careful what you wish for." True, the Renaissance period was tremendously interesting, fascinating, and creative. But it was also brutal to some people. True peasants and non-nobility garnered more rights and privileges simply because there weren't enough of them to fill all the vacancies, but some were still treated less than human and more like possessions. Chivalry was also confined to social peers and not the underclass. Also, food was still hard to come by, meat being a premium and out of reach for most people, unless they hunted for themselves (and didn't get caught!) because nobles would claim the best hunting lands for themselves. A typical meal for European peasants was bread, MAYBE a little cheese, and an onion or wild herbs/berries if in season. The Chicago Tribune newspaper printed a series at the turn of the millennium...I think it was called something like 'Life Then and Now' in which they discussed the changes century by century. Really cool series. If someone could dig it up, I'd be the first to re-read it! BUUUT... we're getting of subject! YOUR NEW DRESS MIKA! Darn! aye everywhere you go there is no honor. guns take alot of honor away, even the lowliest footsoldier could make an incredible impact on the battlefield. there was no use for swords or anything anymore. and about time travel, it can get really complicated and as cool as going back in time would be the reprecussions would not be worth it. i mean you could accidently make it so you wouldnt be born automatically creating a paradox and undoing the universe or something. all it takes is one person to go back in time to undo existence

Eh. Taking notes would be what I had in mind. After all, Happo's right. The peasants were really still an underclass, but there weren't enough of them to support the nobility's absolute claims, and thus the power shifted away from the nobles into the peasants.

As for two dudes kissing and all that, it's probably the reason a stage kiss was invented. Remember, these are kids playing girls, since the guys haven't had their voices pitch downward yet...

Aaah! I'd forgotten about that! Yes, that would have been young boys who could still do falsetto... but still, it smacks of awkwardness... :blush:

Just took some acting, that's all. Since theater companies tended to live together, one probably got very comfortable with the fellow actors, enough to be able to pull it off. I'm not sure if there would be anybody with those tendencies that would stay long in the theater company...
