YOur reading it wrong. I never said 'be something your not'. But it is an inborn trait for men to be more dominant than women, it's built into the chemistry. I din't say be dominering, just confident enough to know, hey, this isn't what I want, and I can get better somewhere else. Many people fall into this thing were they finally get a gf/bf and they fall madly in love. That is an astronomical chance. It just doesn't happen that often.

Again I'm talking about making first impressions. Like Tobias said, most people thing he's arrogant, but once they get to 'know' him, they like him. I'm not telling anyone to be anything they are not. What I'm saying is in 'dating' making the first impression, and casually building up to a lasting relationship, there are tools that will always work in your benefit.

If we're talking about meeting people, always someone has to make the first move. This in almost all instances, save a few, is the males job. Don't know why, society, religion, biology, it just is. That is the confidence. NOthing more, nothing less. Ya just walk up to her, say hi, stike up a convo, and go from there.

These aren't life altering or charictal changes, there just tools you use when meeting people. LIke the power suit. I used to give public speeches constantly and there was a specific outfit that I would wear 2 out of 3 times when I spoke. It made me feel better, everyone would always comment on how well I dressed, it was just a tool. It didn't change who I was or how I thought, just gave me an advantage in a specific situation.

But just as some girls are more guy-like, some guys are not as guy-like. Some guys just naturally are not dominant. They are not homosexual, just honestly more intune with their feelings. I think that is a great thing, and it is definitely part of what attracted me to Excel. He can be protective of me when he needs to me, but he can also be sensetive. I can be protective of him when I need to me, too, and I can be sensetive to him.

If your slightly introverted, you'll probably hit the same situation I did eventually. A girl with a strong mother instinct will latch on to you. Which is good, because I need to be taken care of. Having been married for 2+ years now, I can say that I am a LOT more confident aroudn women now then when I was in highschool and if (god forbid) Amber were to pass on, and if I didnt k33l myself, I'd be alady killer ^_^
