I'm pretty sure the bro got it off of Kazaa or something, because outside of FFXI he doesn't have any friends to get things from. So just find a good file for it and get the subtitles. I don't think I really want to watch it in English; the voices are just too perfect for the roles, especially Reno and Rude.

A buddy of ours d/l'd it from the internet, some file sharing thing, I dunno. Burned me a copy and at the earliest availble convienence Faye and I got together to watch it.

We just now finished it. Btw, watch the credits - nothing major, but cool.

This movie was in spirit, body, and soul the ultimate successor to Final Fantasy VII. This movie was amazing. If youve used the word amazing to refer to something besides Advent Children, then you've been using it incorrectly. Because there hasn't ever been anything previously produced that really equals FF:AC in it's category.

The graphics were better than Spirits Within.
The music was done by modern symphonic god Nobuo Uematsu.
It was directed by FF vet Tetsuya Nomora.
The voices match perfect, no one was miscast. If I had one complaint its that Cid didnt cuss the whole time. Fortunatly Barrett did.
The action was so hot and powerful, I dont know how to discribe action like this. Ive never seen action sequences that rival Advent Children.
No chracter is left behind either - everyone's there. The party member that contributed least was Cait Sith - which is ok because he never really contributed much in the game either ^_^.

Squeenix realy dropped the ball by not getting this thing over hear fast enough OR by annoucing too early of a release date. It upset a lot of poeple who even had it reserved for DVD and PSP. Worry not, this is arguably the best movie Ive ever f***in seen, and I think anyone that watches it will agree on some level. I dont know that ANYONE that watches this movie won't buy it.

If you watched the movie and didnt like it - your a heartless fricken prickoff jerk wad and dont deserve the air your breathing. And God hates you.

That might be a bit much - but dammit there was a point to this movie. A point that some of us who waited on perched toes to get our mitts on FF7 release day. My god I bought the game before I bought my playstation. I remember reading the manula in anticipation. I played 10 hours into it with out a memory card ON PURPOSE becuase I wanted to feel the game out as soon as possible. FF7 isnt just and old RPG. Its a symbol of a bygone era of gaming, and a golden shining one at that. And theres a lot of people who will watch this movie and enjoy it, but theres a few who are going to watch it and feel a promise fulfilled that was made in our hearts 8 years ago.

Watch. Advent. Children. If you have to download it, thats ok. Your going to buy it later. Its not illegal to download music and media you arleady own - and your going to own this.

I dont think the movie was as good as diajaga says it was, but then again i didnt think FF VII was uber good either...

But the graphics were very wonderfully dony, the music was awsome, features some remixes off the Black Mages CD as well as Piano collection, or maybe the PC music was on the anime thing before hand i can't remmeber exactly. Oh yeah the best part was my MST3k commentating on the movie, ask Ultrawolf about that Laughing

Woah Daij! It's crazy how our first PSX exposure was similar! My first game was FF7 as well, and I too played around 10 hours into it before I had a memory card! Crazy, lol!!! Anyway, to the fans of FF7, you will definitely NOT be let down. If I had any complaint at all, (and considering how amazing this movie is) it would be that I would have liked to se emore materia in use.

That said, the ending had me crying, the music is powerful.

The funniest part of the movie was after Tifa beat that guy with the claw, and his phone started ringing and it was the victory music. LOL I was grinning from ear to ear.

Anyway, I HIGHLY reccommend Advent children to any fan of the FF series (Unless you came in at 10, and haven't played any of the others. If that's the case, then your perception of the FF series is slightly off) Even so, watch it, it's awsome! I totally can't wait for the FF7 remake.

Actually even though it's a rumor right now, there has been some jitter of Squenix actually doing it. It's under some speculation, but it may not be entirely impossible.
