I don't really care about Juggernaut so much. As long as he has the helmet at least, because without the helmet, the character turns to shite.

But, Psylocke -and- Angel? I think I can overlook the Phoenix Saga for them.

How can you be down on the Phoenix Saga? Yes it is basically used in the X-men comics whenever there is a lul in the story or someone needs to die...Or maybe Gene just, "Thirsts for Chaos."

But you seriously can't knock them for using one of the most prominent Marvel story-lines and possibly the most prominent character (Aside from Wolverine)

I bet you can show a picture of Gene Gray, Dark Phoenix, and Phoenix to people and they will get all three correct.

Show a picture of Angel and they'll say "Fag with wings?" Then show em Arch-Angel and they'll say, "Bad-ass with wings" or "Arch-Angel."

Just becuase it's a good technique and easily recognizable doesn't mean I have to -like- it. I really would have thought it'd be a good idea for them to make a separate Phoenix movie-- that way they could have focused on all the stuff to do with Phoenix rather than mixing it in with another plotline in hopes of catching everyone's eye. They're doing that (from what I've heard) with Wolverine, and it really makes more sense for Phoenix as well, since there's a lot of plotstuff involved in the Phoenix line. This makes it seem like every movie they make from now on (assuming they're going to continue making movies) is going to carry on the Phoeonix plotline, and then it ceases to be X-men, but becomes instead "The Phoenix Show".
