The Smithy

[Zzyxx]

"My name, m'lord, is Zzyxx of the Frozenblade clan. I come from the frozen north, i have journeyed well past what my people considered the end of the world. I just need some simple blades, nothing to elaborate, i can agment them myself thanks to certain elemental abilities i have."
Zzyxx demonstrates by taking water out of the air and creating a rose of ice in his hands, then he turns it black with the energy of teh shadow.
"I have money to pay, though not much. If there is any other way for me to pay you, i would appreciate you telling me of it, m'lord."

[Sperrit]

Sperrit grinned.
"Well, nice to meet you, buddy. I'm Sperrit, Earth Elemental. I believe we used to have a guy around here who also used to have ice powers, but I'm not sure what happened to him. So many people come and go through here it's hard to keep track. Anyway, you're still going to have to tell me HOW MANY blades you want, and what weapon type. There are lots of weapons with blades. Swords, spears, daggers, scythes, axes, not to mention the sub-types of each of those weapon types!"

[Zzyxx]

Zzyxx laughs more at himself than anyone else. "That is true, how could i have forgotton? I would like two swords, Katanas if possoble. But if not then perhaps scimitars? If you have a suggestion i'd be more than willing to take it, but i do use a primarly slashing style of battle."

[Sperrit]

Sperrit taps his chin.
"Slashing? Hmm... scimitars would probably be the way to go for you. Something with a curved blade, at least, probably a bit shorter than normal.... Let me see what I can do."
Sperrit summoned a pile of dust from around the shop and created a thick square of it on the counter in front of him. He started to draw in it with his finger.
"Hmm... this might do... shouldn't take too long. You say you'll align them yourself? We've got a wide variety of different magical alignments and enhancements that we offer."

[Zzyxx]

Zzyxx looks noting this, "Aye, so you do... Yes i'll be aligning them myself... i don't trust any powers but my own. Forgive me, it is the way i have been forced to live for.... a long time now." Zzyxx looks nostalgic for a moment then snaps back to reality. "Those swords will do marvelously, thank you, m'lord."

[Sperrit]

Sperrit shrugs.
"Suit yourself, buddy! These will be an easy make. And just so it doesn't get too easy I'll forge you some good, tough alloy, strong and light and slow to dull. Just wait here a moment."
Sperrit walks into the back of the shop, summoning many metals to his side, morphing their shape and consistency and melding them together, creating two identical forms, strangely curved blades with an odd sleekness and flow to them. After a few minutes Sperrit walks back out and lays them upon the counter.
"There you go, Zzyxx, two swords of unique design. These should be perfect for slashing, though if you want to stab with them you should try with a down-scooping-up motion. Should work well. Do these meet with you satisfaction?"

[Zzyxx]

Zzyxx examines the swords very carefully, takeing a great deal of time and painstaking effort just to get the look of them in his mind. "May i test them before giving final judgement? I won't leave the store, but i would certainly advise other to stay a bit back."

[Sperrit]

Sperrit shrugs.
"Sure! I'm not really worried. You can take them away and test them all you want. If you find they aren't to your satisfaction you can bring them back any time and I'll either modify them or rebuild them to your specifications, free of charge."

[Zzyxx]

Zzyxx gives a visible grin and picks up his new swords, he moves out behind the smithy and swings them around to get a feel for the balance. Finding almost perfect, he renters the Smithy and says, "Ill take them!"

[Sperrit]

Sperrit nods.
"Cool! Any slight modifications you would like? Too heavy? Too light? Anything you want to change?"
