Well, why do they say you shouldn't? People should only get pierced for themselves and their own reasons, not whether anyone else thinks they should or shouldn't.
The only time that doesn't apply is if the other people are say, your boss or your parents (and you're underage). Well maybe then it does.
So the answer to your question is, if you want to get your lip pierced and your job/parents allow it, go for it. Who cares what anyone else thinks? It'll make you happy, and if they care about you, they'd understand that.
Besides, they'll get over it.  |

heh. well for now my parents are saying no, but i can wait till college. but lots of people (i really do not know why, i dont agree with them) say i have a good face, and that piercings would screw it up. do lip piercings get infected easily? |

My adivice is not to pick anything off of the wall. Try to go with something custom and something that means enough to you to have inked on your body for life. |
