Yeah It might just be because I never played any of the games. Nor do i know the normal storyline for them either. Does make sense as Yunni puts it that it is probably setting it up for a sequal or two. All in all i guess it did rather well at the box office so a sequal is quite possible.

About sequels and whatnot, I remember reading on a site that Gans said that if this movie did well, he would make a sequel...

Something like that anyway! Very Happy

And yeah! I saw it and enjoyed it, though I'd have to say I preferred the first half of the movie to the second half. Parts of the ending were just...blah. But overall, yeah I definitely liked it!

I bet y'all 2 bucks about this...

Ok, first of all I'm an UBER Silent Hill fan... I've never played the first one, but I've defeated the second, seen the third and fourth in play. I've read and studied everything about all the games though, except some fourth.

Yea, Cybil, Rose, and Sheron were dead... And I find the ending of the movie BRILLIANT for the sequel. Like the second game, where the husband goes to look for his supposively dead wife, the sequel will give the husband to go the silent hill to find his wife.

And yes... I was VERY upset with the lackage of monster showing, but then you had to realize that three of the monsters shown ( Pyramid Head, nurses, the spewy armless things ) are from the second one, and this movie was based off the first. It was a great movie. It made me happy that they used music from the games.

SOme idiot at my school was like, "I wonder what bands will be in the movie." You idiot! You think they'd do that? Yea right... <3 God I loved the movie.

I've already seen it twice.

After the first time of seeing it, I had a dream Pyramid Head was my boyfriend 8D;

Oh yea it wouldn't surprise me at all if they based the sequel on the second game, and also I seem to be the only person to remember that line between Rose and The Reaper in the basement... <_>
I coulda sworn she said something about "Chris will find your daughter and cleanse the town." but hey maybe I'm just crazy :O
