Speaking of how Vincent's most definately the best character, I can't wait for Dirge of Cerebrus. I just hope there's as much jumping around and crap as he did in AC, or like there was in GunValkyrie |

Well, I just saw the movie after about two days worth of downloads and I got to say, this movie did not disappoint.
Yeah, a lot of people are complaining that their favorite characters didn't get as much screen time as they wanted, but Final Fantasy 7 has always been Cloud's story. But you have to admit, the fight scene where they all get together just screams nostalgia and it showed each of them doing what they do best.
Obviously, the CGI was amazing and the battle scenes were just simply beautiful, especially that last one. Character models were just breathtaking.
As for the story, I'll admit it seemed a bit rushed but it worked well and did what any Final Fantasy game does, answered long standing questions but left you with more questions. For a FF7 junkie, the plot is great and satisfying, but for anyone else it's just midly interesting.
Overall, it's definetely been worth it waiting for this movie to come out, persay. Once it hits American territory, you can bet I'm adding this one to my movie collection. |
