Don't try to scold him too harshly. I thought the point of opinion was the make your view heard. If he has taken anything else into view then he has the right to express how he feels. I don't think it was mean either, just another way of looking at things. True respect of others opinions is when you're able to accept that even if it frustrates you to no end. |

reaper, im more than happy to carry on a debate with you else where away from here about the IRA .. be interesting to hear what you know and have to say about it.. its a huge subject of mine and i know a fair deal about it  and i said debate not an argument .. |

I think the different opinions are interesting. Everyone is entitled to their own. But I'd like to clarify my earlier statement--America IS a very large country--there were people living 2500 miles away from the Towers that were mass panicking and acting dramatic and such. England, on the other hand, is only about 300 miles wide (there-abouts). In that situation, I would think, anyone living in England, or Wales, or Scotland would have cause to worry. Not to mention there were already riots going on in Scotland because of that summit.
And just a wee-bit off subject, I found it interesting and just a little humerous that there were people blaming France for the bombings, saying that it was because they lost the Olypmic vote X)! |

I heard that too amongst a few others .. we really dont know who it is right now and in a way i dont think the real culprits will .. but there seems to be plenty jumping on the band wagon  |

y?We lost people as well over there-it seems to me that u are saying that people who lost family/friends/collegues in the london bombings dont feel as bad as the ones who lost someone in the american ones?and i feel that although people have the right to express their fealings/thoughts/etc they should still be sensative especially on topics such as this |

I think this is the part where we should all agree that tragedy is tragedy, and recognize that it is happening all around us--England and the USA are not the only two countries in the world. More horrendous events are occuring the world wide that we are oblivious to. Just be thankful that you live where you do, where the internet is a luxury you take for granted. |
