So far teh favorite tracks of teh Tobs:
Killing in the Name - Rage Against the Machine
Pyschobilly Freakout - Reverend Horton Heat (Story to ensue)
Hanger 18 - Megadeth
Beast and the Harlot - Avenged Sevenfold
Misirlou - Dick Dale
so far, these are the songs that i've been constantly going back to play. I dunno why...just that much fun, i guess
I still need to play the rest of the game and get 5 stars...im just too infatuated with playing songs on Expert.
(The story that ensues)
So i bought the CD "Smoke em if ya got em" by Reverend Horton Heat, purely because i love psychobilly freakout...whats funny is that people don't know why i like it so much...since it did keep me up till 2:45 in the morning trying to beat it, untill i gave up. The next day, i sat down and plowed right through the song. Its stuck with me since.
It is truely a kickass song...and so is the CD - you guys should listen to it.
Oh: Killing in the name: 300000+ pts...give it a whirl.
Oh, i forgot to mention that that was on expert. |

Got the game.
Beat Thunder Horse on Medium. Like butter.
Tried it on expert.
Has anyone seen my wrists?
That is all. |

My promo copy came through today, 6 days before EU release!!
Although its in a Jewel case and Guitar less, I've been promised a Cherry Gibson pretty soon, so Charly and I will be able to Jam together!!
w00 go free games!
anyway,
I feel, so far this version is easier than the last, I'm storming through Medium, just finished Sweet Child O' Mine, only got one song on 4 stars, that was Monkey Wrench, I was distracted, the rest are all on 5.
Still love it though. |

Riva- I think the general consensus is that medium is much easier, but once you get into hard and expert it gets crazy hard. They amped the difficulty for the pros. |

That doesn't suprise me. Although my hands now frozen up from finishing Freebird. Although I think 4stars was pretty good for that monster!
I definetly need to go bakc and do all the thrash metal songs again |

And new tracks are added to the 360 version. Before the downloadable content.

Show floor demo reveals ultimate truth: Iron Maiden (and more).
By Patrick Klepek, 01/08/2007
Just last week Red Octane confirmed Guitar Hero 2 on Xbox 360 wouldn't be a straight port; in addition to the downloadable content via Xbox Live, new songs would be included on the disc.
Here's the list of new tracks and the tier they are in (tiers are currently not final):
# Opening Licks: The Toadies -- "Possum Kingdom"
# Amp Warmers: Pearl Jam -- "Life Wasted"
# String Snappers: Alice Cooper -- "Billion Dollar Babies"
# Thrash and Burn: Deep Purple -- "Hush"
# Return of the Shred: Rick Derringer -- "Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo"
# Relentless Rifts: My Chemical Romance -- "Dead"
# Furious Fretwork: Iron Maiden -- "Trooper"
We're Andrew's still working on that last tier. Not a bad lineup. Would've preferred Maiden's "Run to the Hills" myself, but at least they've finally included the band that deserved to be there on day one. Hah! And I told myself I wouldn't buy Guitar Hero 2 again. I'm such a sucker. |
