All i'm going to say about this world cup ias "TAKE THAT C.RONALDO YOU CHEATING SCUM!"

or should that be most of the portuguese team! Refs were watching them fromt heir very first kick of the ball, more so than the other teams. And that Dive agaisnt france from mr Ronaldo proves just why they'd been watching them, any ref who gave that would of been blind.

I'm not fussed who wins, was only backing England anyway, although I know the town I live in has a HUGE Italien population so it will be unbearable if they win!!

lol, that wasnt an attack on Italy or any Italiens, but its already being rubbed in the face of Bedfords English population that we went out and their in the final. so it will be even more in your face if they win. Although one of their players was born in England so maybe if they win, theres a bit of England there to win the World Cup!

See I'm mixed up, I hate the french team, purely because of the fact I'm not a fan of their cocky attitude, I used to be a big Arsenal fan, until we had Pires, Henry, Vieira and about 100 French players, I'm a "Lion" at heart, so I dont like the way the british game has gone, if you look at the leagues in Italy, it is mainly Italien players, hence why they have so much strength in depth, but you look at the English leagues and there is literally only just enough world class players to make a World Cup squad. but the Italien league is full of dodgy dealings at the moment, which is probably whats spurred Italy on so much.

Whilst I can kinda see your point on this, one, don't forget that arsenal has still got some truly world class British players, and its not as if we haven't tried to sign english players (Dean Ashton for example)

Anyway, which Italian was born in England?

France is still my fave to win anyway ^^

France's boy falls down for no reason and gets a pentaly kick out of it and scores. Italy's boy did everything to avoid him and barely touched him.
Italy scores a beautiful goal to tie.
France falls down lots lots more.
Italy wins for the first time on pentalties in World cup play!

Works for me.

If Italy hadn't of had something to prove (the whole issue with whats going on with theior domestic game) then I dont think they'd of made it this far, and would also probably of dived. Not attacking Italy, but nearly all of the teams, besides those that play hard football (i.e. England, and a few others) go down at the touch of a hair on their leg.

Brazil, Argentina, Italy, Spain, Portugal, they all do it, Germany used to but dont anymore, I admire them for that, they play the football England SHOULD have been playing this World Cup.

I've seen it in every game I've watched throughout the world cup. I've watched about 6 or so, but never saw England play. And Doot said that Germany does it too. But the one that they got the penalty kick on. The guy didn't even get hit... he just fell down and played it like he did.

Then Italy missed out on a goal b/c of that freakin offsides call! Blah.

Oh well... they won... that's all I really care about.
