Problem is, 9/11 affected everyone, there were brits in that building too and it bought things to a standstill globally, and also spawned the war on terrorism(i almost said crashing to the ground, but then realised that wasnt appropriate).
london, madrid and turkey, while not quite as huge as 9/11 is still really bad, capital cities were attacked, the madrid bombing scared the spanish out of the war, and possibly the turks too. but what is most significant about the london bombing is that where some of the explosions happened were big muslim communities, showing that these people aren't even muslim as everyone seems to think, if anything theyre a break off of the muslim religion, like protestants were back when Henry the VIII set up the church of england. |

And you are leaving ME out of this? Come on... 3 of my most well written papers through highschool have been on the IRA and the Irish acts of resistance (in some cases yes, terrorism.)  I would absolutely love to be involved as there is a long and deep argument over what the IRA does and what it stands for.
In the mean while, listen to Morrissey's Irish Blood English Heart. I think it is on the CD We Are The Quarry. So yeah. Sorry. Didn't mean to bring it up again.  Just putting it out there that I'd love to be involved in any discussions as it is an argument very close to me.
Anybody know about the arrests at the airport? From what Ive heard, they are unwilling to publicly announce any connection to the terrorist attacks, but they were arrested under Britains anti-terrorist laws? |

no not as yet .. but they think he was from this area .. they have arrested on man in leeds .. thats about 200 miles from here |
