Hello again ^_^ Anywho, I was just curious as to what programs the artists used to make the comics/ character models here. I know everything is first sketched on to paper, but, from there, what happens?

To my knowledge, they ink it on paper and color it in Photoshop. Of course, you'd have to ask them. I just feel like posting something. |

I've seen the magic happen first-hand... 'tis a wonder to behold.
Far as I know, it's just a matter of getting it scanned in and then manipulated in Photoshop.
I watched a little bit as Doot banged one out Thursday night for my friend, Mr. Fabulous. She sketched on paper, scanned, and did the lines in Photoshop. From there it's pretty much a matter of coloring and shading... which most people use a variety of Adobe products for... the most popular being Photoshop, however. But who knows. They may use some super l337 programs that I don't know about. |

We do indeed, sketch the image on paper first then scan the sketch and ink/color/shade and add special fx in Photoshop. |

Thanks a bunch, everyone! -sigh- I was thinking of submitting some art, since Id really like to be a bigger part of PO than just a member, but im not too skilled yet at computer art.Im more of a pencil and paper type of guy ^_^;; |
