Here comes another blast of negativity..
I can't stand G4. Stop trying to make gaming culture cool. Gaming culture is inherently geeky/nerdy, and all the MTV style posturing and hiring of attractive television personalities will never change that.
Even X-Play has gone downhill since TechTV was bought out.
And their lineup is so weak.. why do they have to pad their programming with "street culture" shows? I know many of your average GTA-gamer finds "whip set" style content to their liking, but many other gamers could care less.
The only show I can stand to watch on G4 these days is Icons. Everything else is just a waste of time.

G4 Sucks.
In California I never had the channel because we never subscribed to it or what have you so I'd hear of this G4 Gamer Channel and I was hyped up about it because I figured sooner or later I'd be able to check it out. I finally got a chance to watch G4 when I moved into my Dorm....oh how I was let down.
It's like watching that phone commercial with the posers break dancing, only it's a whole network of it. At first I thought "oh it must be a joke segment" but as I kept watching I realized that the only joke was how G4 managed to acquire TechTV. |
