The problem with a Pentium dual core is that they share the Front side bus instead of have their own seperate lines. Which means instead of your 2.8GHz of speed you're getting something a wee bit slower.

As for the video card...I wouldn't trust an Intel "graphics Accelorator" and I'm not sure what "Dynamically Shared" means but I'm going to assume it is two 64 MB graphic processors set up like the dual core thus again slower performance.

The second one has the same issues with the dual core but it has a liquid cooling (kinda) dealy so your performance will be greater.

Best part is the Radeon X300 video card. While not the best it is Radeon and I love them over N-Vidia any day of the week.

Im under the impression that If I could invest in a PCI-IE video card like this Radeon Sapphire and put that in the first PC (the RB52), I would esssentially have the same PC as the RC110G. Besides the video card, .2 processor core difference, and the fact it came with some sort of good speakers, I couldnt spot much of a differenace.

TV Tuner and PVR on the 110G in addition to the graphics card. Hrm. I was just newegging, but I definitely can't come anywhere close on the software for the price. You could definitely build a much more badass computer, though, for $1300. But then again, this is coming from someone who spits and hisses at the word "Intel"...

No computer system is really horrible if you take care of it.

New technology today is outdated in 6 months so no matter what you do you're always screwed.

Just make sure you get yerself some securities and such. I prefer the Zone Alarm stuff because it's very easy to alter your Firewall to suit your needs and the entire Suite is only $69 as opposed to Nortons $150+. McAffee is a joke...If you get that pre-installed on your comp delete it and go buy something else...Hell look for free DL's at www.komando.com those are MUCH better than McAffee.

$150? Are you buying the 10-user package or something, GAAZ? Norton SystemWorks Premiere costs under $100, and that's AntiVirus, system integrity tools, and the firewall altogether.

I do, however, agree with you that McAfee is a joke. I wonder if it still uses BackWeb (which most other firewall programs identify as a security threat/backdoor system) for its updates...

Last Norton Dealy I saw was at Fry's and it was a single user..I'm not sure why it was so expensive.
