Whenever I download a file using the firefox download, it locks up, and won't respond or restart until I restart my computer.
I updated to the new firefox, and it's still doing it. Help? |

Never, ever hurts to run Ad-Aware.

I inadvertantly caught something on my new laptop last night. I updated Norton and it still didn't see anything. Ad-Aware took care of it right quick. I can't say I've heard of your problem specificially, but you may want to give this a shot.

Well, I talked to some friends last night and it turns out that it's a common problem with FF, that can be fixed by completely deleting and re-installing everything, and sometimes can be fixed by deleting your profile. I haven't tried either yet.
I did, however, realize that I haven't run spybot/adaware in a couple of weeks, thanks to your post  |
