WARNING! HARSH LANGUAGE. I don't get like this often.

Yesterday I got an IM from a friend of mine. When I checked it, it was a link to yahoo photos. Asked me to log in first, so I did. Then it gave me the incorrect login error. I tried to log in again, and it went through, but I was in my own yahoo photos area.

Strange right.

Well right as I realize what happened. I get booted out of my mail client.

I just got scammed. My password had been jacked and changed already.

Everything in my email is now unaccessible b/c I can no longer get into my account.

This isn't why yahoo sux. This was my fault. It was sent from a friend of mine so I didn't even think to check the address in the bar before trying to log in. STUPID ME!

So, I sent in a support from my secondary yahoo account to have my password reset. Then I sent in another yahoo form for password hoaxes. Then tried getting the number for customer service. I found one and called it. Granted it was a customer service phone number for yahoo personals, but I asked the rep for the security number and she gave me another one. Called them, and they said THEY DON'T DO CUSTOMER SERVICE OVER THE PHONE FOR FREE EMAIL ACCOUNTS. What the fuck!

So the guy gave me a direct email address. I emailed that too. After all was said and done... I had called twice and sent 5 emails!

I STILL DONT HAVE MY ACCOUNT BACK!

This is the worst customer service ever. I don't even know what is going on. All I got was the stupid ass automated messages that say "Oh yeah we're looking into it." What the fuck ever you bastards! How fucking hard is it... all you have to do is reset the password and send it to me. Ask me whatever security questions you need and reset my fucking password!

I have yet to receive another email besides the automated ones. So, as I sit here hoping I can get into my account and all my shit won't be deleted, I'm going to every online site I know that may have my email on it and changing the email on it. Changing passwords... all that shit.

This is so frustrating.

So yeah... YAHOO SUX. I'm done with them. I don't even have my address book. This is so frustrating. So, if I do get it back, I'm going to grab my address book, transfer all my needed emails over to gmail. I'm done with yahoo and their horrible customer service. It's... it's not even horrible... it doesn't fucking exist!

That's just not right. It should be no problem at all for them to reset the passwrod on your account once you explain what happened and answer whatever security questions they need from you. It should be done by now. Something easy enough for them to do even for the "free" services.

Hmmmm yeah...yahoo sucks. I have had a firm hatred of them for a long time. I'm sorry you had to get the shoddy end of the yahoo stick, Shino =(

yeah gmail is pretty cool. I just got a gmail account and i already like it. I've bounced around with a yahoo account or two but haven't ever really used it for my primary address. Sorry Shino. Do you feel better now that you've yelled about it? I always feel better when I yell...

I've had problems with yahoo before too and I've switched over to gmail. Man, that sucks, I hate that that happened to you.
