So last night was our Choral Banquet, my last one, as I am graduating on Friday (SCOOOOOORE) and as it ends up, like last year, and the year before I was in for an award or two.. or more. o_o;
My total list of honors from the Milton High School Choral Association goes like this:
Freshman: Nothing, I didn't do Chorus. WHOOPS!
Sophomore: First Year Completion Award, Men's Ensemble Award
Junior: Second Year Completion Award (Lettered), Best Tenor Award- Chorale, Best Dressed Award
Senior: Third Year Completion Award (Pin), Best Tenor I Award- Men's, Best Sight Reader- Men's, Theory Master- Men's, Most Improved- Chorale, Officer Award (Another Pin), Senior Honor, Carnegie Hall Certificate
...I really don't know how I busted all that out. Most ironic part is, the final award I received on the evening was my "Most Improved" Award... She had to give an explanation for having somebody who was already up there seven times coming up for a Most Improved Award.  |

I haven't, though I think my friend Will did at an Honors thing... Maybe it was All-State or ACDA, I'm not sure. But the name sounds familiar enough.
Congrats on having your guys' first ever banquet, I'm sure you will have one heck of a time.
Also, Shades Valley High School...
that name just rocks. |

It was Monday the 15th
We had a blast food, awards, and a slide show of the year that my mom put together(with a little help from me)
I think I got one of the best awards there...
the "Will starve for choir"
I wasent able to fit second semester choir in my schedule because of Spanish II and AP Cal, so i went for 20-30 min almost everyday instead of lunch.
and yeah, shades valley is a preaty good name |
