Yeah, my mom and I are always watching those home-makeover shows and wondering "how will that family be able to afford such a huge house?"
It's really unfortunate, but at the same time... I guess it helped them appreciate what they had before?
Anyway, a house that huge would be nice every once in awhile...but a little bit too lonely for me. :p |

Well they should have known better then to try and live in it, they are really naive. If I won that house, first thing I would do is put it on the market to get rid of it lol. |

Would it be possible to rent out the house? You would use the rent to pay off the IRS slowly, while the people living there would pay off the water bills, power bills, etc. So eventually you would either be able to live in it or profit from it. Can't you do something like that? Or is that just wishful thinking? |

They said houses that big and of that price are rare in that part of Texas. They're having a hard time finding someone to buy the house let alone rent it. Basically, no one want's to find themselves in the same position. |

I think they would have to rent to several different families at once to make the money they need and then that would essentially be a bed and breakfast. |
