Sword of Mana!

Holy god! This is one damn addicting game! You can either be boy or girl and ummm play..I started as the girl and I can't put the damn game down.

And after a while ya sorta don't even realize your switching Spirits and Weapons every other Bad guy (Some spirits and some weapons only kill certain things etc.)

So far not as awesome as Secret of Mana but pretty damn close.

OOOh, almost forgot..If ya play FFXI then you do a buncha quests that mirror FFXI quests and meet a buncha peeps from said other game.

I have yet to buy this game. Although it is tempting to just d/l as a ROM I keep fighting the evil urge. I'll just buy it along with some how to make sushi books.

So far it's pretty good but at times it can be VERY frustrating...Yer usually a team of two. and the other char you can't change weapons or armor and with the girl they always use slash attacks. (Three types of weapons Slash, Bash, and Jab) and while most things die via slash if they don't yer SOL...So I mainly use them to hide behind during boss fights.

Secret of Mana is still WAY better but this one feels like it's actually before SOM and is telling the story of the mana sword.

Actually it is a prequel to SoM. I'd like to see them redo SoM but with SD3's artwork. Not Legend of Mana's artwork. Although nice I could never really get into it.

This is a remake of the GB classic Final Fantasy Adventure, which yeah, was the prequel to Secret of Mana. The Japanese version of this game was originally called Seiken Densetsu, and secret of mana was Seiken Densetsu 2. They have a Seiken Densetsu 3 ROM if you can find it translated, which is the true Sequel to Secret of Mana (And no, Legend of Mana it is not.)
Anyway, I just got knuckles on it, which rocks, cuz I've been putting all my points into Monk! HYAAAAAAAA!

I like how I can beat the bosses without thinking but the normal enemies own me all the time.

Seriously SOM the first time ya fought that blob where you could only hurt it in its core but the slime on the outside poisoned and slowed ya from hitting said core was a COMPLETE ho-bag.

Sword of Mana them bastard spear knights kill me like I was standing there and the bosses can't help but present their butts for my kicking.
