With Clerks II soon to be released, I figured that it was about time I go out and pick myself up a copy of the original Clerks movie. While I was in the store, I noticed the DVD collection of the Clerks animated series. I'd seen it once or twice, so I decided to pick that up also.
I gotta say, I'm surprised that the show never made it on the air, and it's a shame that there are only 6 episodes. It's really very good, and very funny. And they even managed to have the same people who play Dante, Randall, Jay and Silent Bob to voice their characters. I would reccommend it if you're a fan of the original movie, or anything Kevin Smith for that matter.
Anyone else a fan? |

I've owned the box set for over 2 years now. (2 Box sets actually as I have no idea where the first went)
If I have 3 hours to kill I pop the DVD's in and laugh my ass off and give the Finger to ABC the whole time. |

With the way television has gone, with racier stuff allowed on the airwaves, I wouldnt be surprised if a good box office mark for Clerks 2 allowed Kev to at least look into putting his show back on the air. |

The problem was ABC is owned by Disney and Disney owns Miramax...So if he wants a CLERKS cartoon Miramax must produce it AND it will probably need to go onto ABC...Soooo not likely. |

I'm pretty sure Clerks 2 will be great. It got an 8 minute standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival. I need to figure out who's borrowing my Clerks Animated Series and get it back. |

Pretty Woman- Prostitution (So I've been told...Never seen the flick myself.)

Half Baked- Drug Dealing.

One, Waiting sucked. It was gross and I just waqtched it yesterday. The animated serise was very good. I watched it at a friends house recently. There so needed to be more episodes  |

You've obviously never worked in a restaurant before. Waiting was an excellent movie that adequately touched on the crap that waiters and waitresses have to deal with on a regular basis, and in real life. And it was damn funny to boot. |

I wished that that was in the movie. But alas, it wasn't
The animated series though was pretty awesome, from my point of view. I especially enjoyed Leonardo Leonardo...cause he's silly. |
