I ruturn frome the dead! And I bring a video game!SWEET! If you have not heard of this masterpiece before, {SLAP!} I shall tell you of it's glorious gore-iousness!
In this game you are the sexy photojournalist Frank West, trapped in a mall infested with {gasp} TeH ZomBieZZ!1omglolz! You must survive this plague of post-mortem,ruscue survivors, find the cause for all this hoo-ha and take photos for youre article! All in the course of three days! gasp.
Fear not feeble gamer! For you are able to use damn near anything you find as a weapon! examples: Hunting knives, chairs, stuffed bears, toy lazer swords, servebot heads,
katanas, chainsaws, machine guns, pies, shopping carts, CDs, lawn mowers, baseball bats, bowling balls, fish, mannequins and many many many more!

Oh, and did I forget the the many people turned crazy due to Zobie-pocolipse related stress? Yes, from crazy chainsaw clowns to mad market managers!

It looks pretty sweet, but I dunno looks a little to cartoony, like when it showed him kickin a soccer ball and knocking down like 3 zombies.
Looks like its a little TOO easy to take on a zombie  |

Gets tricky at night when you are swarmed with 50-70 of them surrounding you while trying to protect 3-4 survivors with you. |

So, whist I do loe me some zombie infested malls, is there an end objective to the game? Besides running about flailing the walking dead with umbrellas that is? I just dont understand if its mission based, kinda free form running about, or if there an eventual thing where you break out of the mall and get hit with the tragic truth that the rest of the earth is crawling with zombies too? I gotta know....so that when this gets ported to PS2 Ill have the low down >.> |

I don't think the PS2 could handle the game...and there are no plans for PS3 yet, but that is still possible.
But yes, you do have "scoop information" which would equate to doing missions. It would involve you going to (and opening up) certain areas of the mall. And you will get calls from the safe area (Security Room) that gives you information where survivors are located (if you don't go after them, they will be killed by the horde of zombies). However, the game does last 72 hours in its own time. Whether you do the missions or save the victims is your choice. To beat the game, you could just wander the mall killing zombies for 72 hours and not do a single mission as long as you make it to the rooftop. |
